-The reason they may be experiencing chronic homeless is often because of an addiction or mental illness
-Generally older in age
2)Episodic Homelessness
-3x experiencing homelessness in one year (can turn into chronic homelessness)
-Any more than 3 episodes becomes chronic homelessness
-Generally younger in age
3)Transitional Homelessness
-Usually follows a catastrophic event like losing a job
-More common type of homelessness
-Usually temporary
4)Hidden Homelessness
-People who are couch surfing
-Often rely on family and friends for a place to stay
-Goes unreported
